Optimizer’s job is to get you from an unmanageable universe to a shortlist. It is explicitly not telling you what to trade — the output is “here is what is worth a closer look”, and the looking is still yours.
Built to hand off to FTO
A shortlist is only useful if you can interrogate it. Anything Optimizer surfaces can go straight into FTO for a probability, so discovery and evaluation are one motion rather than two tools.
The filters are the reasoning
Expiry, strike, liquidity and the volatility environment are not switches bolted on after the fact — they are how the shortlist gets built, and you can see which of them moved a contract onto it.
What you see
A ranked shortlist with the characteristics that put each contract there. Nothing on it is a position you should take; it is a list of things that survived the narrowing and are worth the next five minutes.

Shortlisted for evaluation, not for execution
Where it sits
Optimizer is the discovery step. It sits between asking a question and getting odds on a specific contract.
